As shown in the image below:

When you click on the Item Description option, you will see a page having a form to add new product as shown in the image below.

Here you can fill the information and remember to select the checkbox “Enabled”, then click on “Add New” button.

The enabled button will show the product into the sale/purchase form, otherwise the product will be added into the system but not shown into the sale/purchase forms.
